The purpose of this course is to ensure you have the ability to react and respond to emergencies and to provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation to people of all ages, especially children and infants. The course will contain an online quiz and practical assessments to ensure thorough understanding and competency when responding to an emergency.
As per the regulatory authority in early childhood, The Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) stipulate that the sector standard is to complete refresher training in HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) should be undertaken annually.
As such the HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is not only required to enter the Early Childhood Education and Care sector or to engage in childcare work, but required to maintain your work on a year to year basis.
HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is required by a lot of occupations, however this specific course offering has been designed by Making Education to be tailored specifically to early childhood education, early learning, family daycare and childcare environments. Because the course has been contextualised and built for best practice training in the early childhood sector, it is recommended for those currently working in this sector such as educators, room leaders, teachers, co-educators and members of the leadership and management teams.

Students will be completing the single unit of HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
This will involve the completion of online materials as pre-course work, before a single face to face session is held to observe competencies. Â

Public Booking – Onsite in the Making Education Campus.
Complete your pre-coursework online via the student portal before attending your face to face session at 333 Police Road, Mulgrave VIC 3170 Classroom. You will be completing this with other learners.
Private Booking – Onsite in the Making Education Campus.
Complete a group booking to bring your entire team down to our Classrooms.
Have your team complete their pre-coursework online via the student portal before attending your face to face session at 333 Police Road, Mulgrave VIC 3170 Classroom. You will be completing this only your team, up to 30 people.
In House Booking – At your own location
Complete a group booking to bring our trainer team to you and your team.
Have your team complete their pre-coursework online via the student portal before attending your face-to-face session at a location you choose. Our trainers will bring everything required for the face to face competency observation.

When you enrol into HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, we provide you the support you need to have the best outcome possible.
