Who we are

With the Early Learning Sector crying out for higher quality education and learning opportunities for emerging educators, instead of complaining about the current state of training delivery, we decided to take action, thus the idea for Making Education was born. We aim to make a difference by making it different, and provide training for educators, by educators.

We know that educators have struggled in the past to transition from study to work, so our focus of our Qualifications and Accredited Training is placed on real world job readiness, to ensure our students will be successful in their careers.

When it comes to ongoing learning and professional development, the research is clear. We need strategies, facts and key practices. That is why why our bespoke learning opportunities focus on ready-to-implement ideas, concepts and strategies for actively working professionals.

Our Values

We are a team of passionate professionals, excited to help you along your learning journey. We believe in four core values that epitomise Making Education; Fun, Learning, Growth and Integrity. These values drive how we teach to provide students with the skillsets they need to succeed & exceed.

Fun

We believe that everything we do should be fun, because life is too short to not enjoy what you do and why you do it. We embody this in our day to day. Meetings are kickstarted by musical chairs. A learning session can only begin once we’ve all gotten up to move. The day doesn’t start until we’ve shared a smile. Fun isn’t just a word; It’s a state of being. It’s a declaration.

Learning

It might seem silly to value learning as an organisation in the education field, but to us the value of learning runs deep. We don’t see value in someone who thinks they have nothing left to learn, because life is a learning journey. You don’t need to have all the answers, you just have to be willing to be on the powerful journey. Our team is made up of lifelong learners, who started right at the start and who are still progressing and growing.

Growth

To value growth, is to plant the seeds that will grow into the mightiest oak tree; Whose shade we shall not ourselves enjoy.

It is not just our own growth that we value, but the growth of others. We value the idea that if we put in the time, energy, and resources to grow our future generation, then we all get to see the results of their amazing achievements. This is what drives us; to be able to play our part in the improved outcomes of so many.

Integrity

Integrity for us is to leave the sector in a better position than when we found it. We don’t want to just be a part of the education sector. We want to be leaders within it and strive to lift the quality, not just within our own organisation but across the entirety of the sector. We also hold ourselves to a high level of integrity. We want to be open and transparent, and to do the right things for the right reasons. We live by the values of “Living above the line.” We have this as the core of everything we do.
