The Child Empowerment Program has been designed by our sector experts to help support Early Learning services to create a culture that values and promotes child-safe practices. The program is designed to be delivered by 3 and 4-year-old kindergarten teachers to integrate seamlessly into their program.
This program will assist teachers to empower and involve children and provide education for families, in line with the Child Safe Standards.
Child Safe Standard 3 focuses on how organisations empower children of their rights, to help improve child safety and prevent the risk of harm. The Program encompasses a holistic way to teach teachers, children and families about creating safe environments for children and giving teachers the tools to teach children to have ownership of their own bodies. With 5 lesson plans and a parent informational video on the program delivery.
This Program can be accessed through services from their approved School Readiness Funding or purchased as a package that includes:
Empowering children with body safety skills during their early years can foster independence, resilience and confidence. The Child Safe standards focus largely on empowering children and young people and how organisations demonstrate their commitment to keeping them safe.
The Program is created to empower children to become curious, confident and capable learners by using simple strategies.
Speak to our team today to find out how you might be able to use flexible funding through the Victorian school readiness funding program or other state by state initiatives.
