What is included

Analyse individual differences in behaviour and communication preferences through the DISC matrix.

Gain an understanding of the DISC model, a framework designed to help you assess the behavioural styles of your team members. By recognising individual differences in communication and behaviour, you will be better equipped to adapt your leadership style to meet the needs of each educator. This approach fosters stronger relationships, enhances teamwork, and drives effective communication.

Explore a situational leadership framework for guiding quality improvement across diverse educator profiles to get the most out of individuals.

Learn how to apply the situational leadership model to adapt your leadership style according to the specific needs of your educators. This will help you support your team more effectively through times of change, while improving both individual and group performance. You will gain insight into how to manage and motivate educators with different experience levels and capabilities, ensuring a collaborative and growth-focused team.

Master the art of delivering constructive feedback using our Quality Improvement Sandwich model to foster professional growth.

Discover the power of delivering feedback in a way that inspires growth rather than discouragement. The Quality Improvement Sandwich model will equip you with a structured method to provide feedback that balances positive reinforcement with constructive suggestions, ensuring that feedback conversations are motivating and lead to tangible improvements in educator practice.

Engage in practical application by analysing observational footage of real educators to identify and implement effective leadership strategies.

Apply the concepts learned in a hands-on way by reviewing observational footage of real educators in action. This analysis will allow you to observe various leadership strategies in practice and evaluate their effectiveness. You will learn how to implement similar strategies in your own setting, adapting them to your unique context for the best outcomes.

The mentor is highly qualified with extensive experience in early childhood education, leadership, and coaching. They hold advanced certifications and have worked with educational leaders, managers, and educators across various settings. Their practical knowledge ensures you will receive evidence-based strategies and expert guidance throughout the course.

Preparation is simple! If you have a specific area of focus (e.g., team dynamics, leadership challenges, feedback strategies), it’s helpful to identify and share that beforehand. This allows your mentor to tailor the session to your needs. You might also want to review the learning objectives and come prepared with any questions or scenarios you’d like to discuss.

Yes, you can book as many sessions as you like, either individually or as part of a coaching package. Many clients choose to have a series of sessions for ongoing support as they apply the strategies and frameworks learned. We can also create a personalised coaching plan based on your goals.

Each session can be booked for either 1 hour or 2 hours, depending on your preference and the depth of discussion you’d like to have. Sessions are designed to be focused and productive, ensuring you gain practical, actionable insights in a manageable timeframe.

The situational leadership framework helps you understand that no single leadership style works for every situation. This model teaches you to adapt your approach based on the individual needs of your team members, the task at hand, and the current context. By learning to be flexible in your leadership, you can achieve better outcomes in motivating and guiding your team, leading to improved performance and higher quality educational outcomes.

Yes, after each session, you’ll receive a summary of key takeaways and action steps. You can also contact your mentor for follow-up support or clarification on any concepts discussed. Additionally, there may be access to relevant resources or materials that complement the coaching sessions.
