HLTFSE001 - Follow basic food Safety Practices is a nationally accredited course which has been expertly designed by our team of learning designers to support the implementation of high-quality food handling and food safety practices for those working in an early childhood setting. This course has been contextualised to primary support those working within an early learning or childcare workplace environment.
Please note: HLTFSE001 - Follow basic food Safety Practices is essential for all early childhood professionals. This course will meet the new updated ECE regulation governing individuals working with food in a childcare or early learning setting.
In December 2023, new regulations came into effect for all early childhood services and childcares.
Early childhood services and childcare centers that provide food must now ensure that all educators and team members that handle the food complete a food safety training course, or have adequate skills and knowledge in food safety to maintain the safety of the food.
HLTFSE001 - Follow basic food Safety Practices is essential for all early childhood professionals.
