This workshop training will cover the following themes and content:

  • Understanding What Exceeding Means and how it is awarded (Both the Pre-2018 version, and the updated 2018 onwards approach)
  • A deep dive into the guidance materials and definitions to build an understanding of the three exceeding themes:
    • Embedded Practice
    • Critical Reflection
    • Community Engagement
  • Exploring what the purpose of having these themes are hoping to achieve
  • What assessors are looking for as indicators of the themes being present
  • Reflective prompts and processes to assist you and your service to determine if the theme is present or not for a particular practice or program.
  • Answering of Questions and Providing Clarity of understanding.
