Early Childhood Coaching is a tailored professional development process that supports educators, leaders, and services to improve teaching practice, leadership capability, and overall quality in line with the National Quality Standard (NQS) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Our coaching is delivered by experienced and approved coaches who work with you to set clear goals, observe practice, provide targeted feedback, and guide improvements that lead to better outcomes for children.

Yes. Our Early Childhood Coaching program is eligible for School Readiness Funding in Victoria and Kindy Uplift in Queensland, as well as other state-based professional development funding initiatives. We can assist you in aligning your coaching plan with your funding priorities so you can maximise the benefits of these programs.

The program is designed for all professionals in the early childhood education and care sector, including educators, early childhood teachers, educational leaders, centre directors, and approved providers. Whether you are looking to strengthen pedagogy, improve classroom management, enhance leadership, or prepare for Assessment and Rating, coaching can be tailored to your needs.

Coaching can be delivered in person at your service or online, depending on your location and preferences. We offer one-on-one sessions, small group coaching, and whole-team development programs. This flexibility allows us to provide the same high-quality service to metropolitan, regional, and remote areas across Australia.

The focus areas are based on your goals and can include pedagogy and curriculum design, intentional teaching, classroom management, leadership development, team collaboration, EYLF V2.0 alignment, NQS quality area improvement, and preparation for Assessment and Rating. We also work with services to embed reflective practice and create sustainable improvement plans.

Program length depends on your service’s goals, budget, and funding availability. Some services engage a coach for a single term to work intensively on a specific area, while others run ongoing coaching throughout the year to embed long-term change. We will work with you to design a schedule that meets your needs.

While coaching does not guarantee a higher rating, it significantly increases readiness and capability by identifying gaps, strengthening practice, and ensuring your team understands what is expected during the Assessment and Rating process. Many services report improved outcomes and stronger evidence of quality after participating in coaching.

Yes. Coaching can be delivered to individuals, small groups, or the entire team. Group sessions can be particularly effective for aligning practice across the service and fostering collaborative improvement.

Yes. We provide early childhood coaching services to metropolitan, regional, and remote locations across every state and territory. Depending on your location, we can deliver sessions in person or via secure online platforms such as Zoom.

We set clear goals at the start of the program and review progress regularly through observation, feedback, and reflection. This ensures that coaching leads to tangible improvements in practice, confidence, and outcomes for children.

If your service receives School Readiness Funding, you can allocate part of your budget to professional development that improves outcomes in communication, wellbeing, and access to learning. Our coaching program aligns with these SRF priority areas, making it an eligible and impactful use of funds. We can provide documentation and a tailored coaching plan to support your funding application or reporting requirements.

Yes. Our coaching is grounded in current research on effective early childhood education and leadership, and aligns with the EYLF V2.0, the National Quality Standard, and recognised best practice models. Strategies are practical, achievable, and focused on making measurable improvements in your service.

Absolutely. Many services include coaching as part of their QIP strategies to address priority areas. The goals and progress from coaching can be documented as evidence of ongoing improvement, which is valuable for Assessment and Rating preparation.

Outcomes vary depending on your goals, but many services report increased educator confidence, improved teaching practice, stronger leadership, enhanced team collaboration, and clearer alignment with EYLF and NQS expectations. For some services, these improvements have also contributed to stronger Assessment and Rating results.
